It’s a long long road
But I’ll always come back to you
yessss last gif
once again I’m confused, is it attraction, or do I just want to paint it.
try tellinging someone, I’m into you in a very sensory input kind of way. like, I just want to rub your face with my hands and
My mom is making me try contacts again, but she doesn’t understand that it inhibits my reverse Clark Kent effect, glasses off I’m a lump face weirdo, but put them on and I’m cool and interesting.
Ok is there anyone who knows how the fuck you get set on the road to medically transitioning; like, arranging to get a therapist and shit like that? I have absolutely no idea what to do and trying to find a starting point somewhere in all the resources floating around is terribly overwhelming. I’m only a day and a half into seriously looking into things and I’m already incredibly stressed.
Ahhh I’m in the same boat, I don’t even know what kind of health coverage I have. I’ll let you know if I come up with anything though.
Probably, Slavic Soul Party, Süperstar Orkestar, Beats Antique, andBalkan Beatbox, at the moment :)
Misha lays down the motherfucking law. [x]
Can we just talk about how fucking disgusting it is that when Misha calls the fandom out on their misogyny some idiots have to yell “it’s because they’re evil!” First of all, not every female character is evil… most most of them are hated on in large numbers. Second of all, that isn’t an excuse. The fandom doesn’t hate on the male villains, but they do hate the female villains. Misha’s point stands and you could tell he got uncomfortable because he knew the people he was criticizing 1. don’t see their problematic behavior 2. are in the room and 3 feel it’s ok to yell at him about their problematic behavior (and 4. he was probably (obviously) still INCREDIBLY vulnerable from ECCC and knows now that the fandom doesn’t have problems taking their wank to him, which is despicable, I might add). It just really bothers me how fucking misogynistic this fandom is. Like why do we hate Naomi but not Crowley? Why do we hate Lisa? Why do we hate Amelia? Why would people hate Ruby and not Lucifer? (I say “why would” because I, personally, have not seen a lot of Ruby hate… I’m assuming that hate was in abundance when she was on the show, but now it’s all nostalgic feelings of love.) I just don’t understand. Neither does Misha.
As much as I PERFECTLY agree with Misha’s point, the last one made me cringe a little because the problem with this show it’s that EVERY young woman they had was used more or less as a romantic interest for the boys, without any kind of interesting development and background. It’s hard to connect to a character when the only role they play is ” the girlfriend” ” the love interest” ( *coughcough* Amelia and lisa * coughcough* )
It’s like with Meg, she was an AWESOME character, until they decided to butcher her characterization and made her crush on Cas and be all : Oh unicorn! ” They didn’t had to make her a romantic interest, why did they?
So as much as I agree with Misha’s point , I’m not misogynistic for not liking characters that only exist to be made into love interest .
You know.. that may fly… but not really. I wasn’t in the fandom for Lisa’s run in the show… but with Amelia… we knew she was Sam’s love interest over the summer last year and everyone was so excited, but as soon as she came she was INSTANTLY hated and everything she said was proof she was a “bitch” and needed to “get away from Sammy!” Yet, if a male had said what she said everyone would have been in love with them. Lisa is one of my favorite characters, as is Amelia. And there is more to their character than “the love interest.” Amelia is a representation of loss, and what loss means to Sam. Lisa is a representation of family, and what family means to Dean. It is misogynistic to reduce them to “love interest” in your mind because that’s all you see. You don’t see Amelia’s complex relationship with loss and how that fits into her relationship with Sam… you don’t see Lisa’s complex relationship with family and how that fits into her relationship with Dean. All you see is their relationships with Sam and Dean respectively. But that’s not all there is. I’ve seen both characters hated on called “two dimensional characters” but that shows a complete lack of thought for their stories and their contribution to their respective brother’s story and life.
That said, what they did to Meg was really annoying… of course, I always found Meg annoying. Her story isn’t linear in any way and it’s kind of all over the place. I think most of Meg’s time in the show was written without any mind to her previous time in the show. I think it started after Azazel. which was long before Megstiel.
(it should be noted while discussing Lisa and Amelia and love interests for the guys being hated by the fandom one time I was watching a convention panel and someone asked Jensen and Jared what they thought the show could do to get more male viewership, since in theory the show is very male oriented, but the fanodm is primarily female. And they said “put some hot girls in there.” and Jensen said “unfortunately, we tried that and you guys got mad” Fans started cheering. At which time Jensen went to imitate the fandom and said in a high pitched ish voice “get those bitches away from our boys!” and everyone cheered louder. No doubt this was talking about Bella, not Lisa or Amelia… but even still. This is the attitude the fandom has. And it’s not ok)
It’s not ‘ misogynistic ” to say a character have no development. It’s an opinion. You saw more there than I did? Good for you. But don’t call me miso because I thought the potential of the character weren’t pushed at all. That’s totally different. Amelia’s storyline was in my mind extremely weak. Lisa’s was better since there was more development to it , but their character were far less pushed than any males ones in the show. ( AND THAT IS a problem.)
Charlie is loved by the fandom because her history ISN’T related to Dean or Sam , she is her own person with her own goal. It’s a breath of fresh air.
Meg’s storyline..no comment. I can only agree.
One last point: It is never okay to try to ” gain in viewers” by ” throwing some hot girls in there” . Not only is it kind of disgusting , but it provide the image that : Girls are only to be used as sexy factors” and nothing else.
